It's my fault, not his.
I went in thinking it was a legit thread until I read the cars he listed.
Then I figured it must be a joke.
Now I see he's not kidding. When you're poor, you just don't think something like that can be real.

I had forgotten that when I was a young man I too came into some money.
Not big bucks like him but, it was a hefty sum for my day.
I pissed it all away in six months.

Hope you get a great car that makes you happy, man.

Well, maybe if he was going to Antarctica. However, I'm not sure where anarctica is...

BTW, I say:

D: None of the above.

Just my $0.02, but I would go Viper or Z06... I think the new Mustang in all its embodiments is over rated. That doesn't mean I wouldn't want one. I just think there are better cars out there for me...

Just so you know, 100k a year really isn't that much money anymore, especially if you have to go be a diesel mechanic in antarctica to get it. It's more than I make for sure, but not the "big pimpin" money you're acting like it is.

I don't think any of the performance cars he's looking at are going to perform like he thinks.

Sure, there are no speed limits down there but he's gonna need snow tires all the way around and a snow tire ruins zero to 60 times.

The job is likely a shift job of some sort, month in month out maybe. There are tons of jobs like that pay very well (better than 100k/yr) especially for trades like heavy duty mechanics in the oil & gas industry. I personally know of lots of guys who work either overseas on shifts like that in the middle east or up in northern AB or BC in work camps.

I doubt he's taking any car to Antarctica.

Need your opinion on a new lawnmower...

I am starting my new job at the bowling alley as a bowling-pin-setter-downer-picker-upper fixer upper. I am interested in getting a new 0-turning lawn mower. What do you all think?

The Craftsman 20 HP 44" inch deck

The Husqvarna 22 HP 48" deck

The Swisher 23 HP 50" deck

NONE. They are all too noisy.
When I'm bowling I need to concentrate and if you were back there on a 0-turn lawnmower chasing pins, well.....

...I admire your ingenuity but, I'd do all within my power to get you fired.

And it will be at an alley in Dayton, Ohio, so I won't have anything to spend it on---not will I be able to go anywhere to spend it!

Seriously, before you buy any of those cars, call about auto insurance rates for those models in your age bracket.

You may have to stay in Antartica longer than you think.
