I shot the M2 when i was in the Army and was lucky the shoot over 3K rounds in 2 hour while at NTC. talk about fun. I'm guessing the M16 is a A1?

Anyway, sounds like a fun job.

PS.
if you have any extra ammo to get rid of or even sell, I'll be more than happy to drive down and get some.
The .50 caliber tri pod machine gun is the Browning M2 fully auto. The ammo is loaded at 226gr. with single base powder. And your right the M16 is the A1 .223 cal. (5.56mm) loaded at 25gr with double base powder (packs more nitro than the sb powder!).. And the Browning 5rd bolt action .50 cal will knock da snot out of ya. Sorry, any extra ammo goes to the firing range & we only sell commercially. But we do sell .50 cal. ball (FMJ) commercially for $1 a round.. A little more for the Tracer, API, APIT, Match, Spotter Tracer & Incendiary rounds. And the Mini 14 is an assault rifle, right there with the M16 both use the same deadly .223 round. Yeah, I do love my job. even tho there rumors were going to shut down in a couple months Oh well, I guess I'll wait & see

BTW, FX4... the .223 is an A2 3rd burst right?, not full auto?, and do you mean Browning .50 cal machine gun (M2) and Barrett .50 "anti-equipment" sniper rifle (M82)?
No its the Barret 99 50 cal /416 sniper rifle single shot.
The 416 is the newest barret sniper round, it's smaller, faster, straighter, flatter, less powder, yet larger punch than the .50 cal and can travel much further accuratly.

They are going to chamber other rifles for the 416 but the old 99 50 cal is the only one available at this time.

My prediction from teh specs on the barret page, other websites I have read tonight, and teh way Mack raved about it.... there is a possibility that the .50 cal may be on it's way to being extinct.
