I couldn't believe he kept throwing 10 yd completions right up the middle with one timeout left near the end. That's poor coaching for sure, unless he's supposed to know what plays to call in the 2 min drill...

Sometimes you have to wonder how pros mess up the fundamentals so badly. E.g. getting out of bounds to stop the clock, wrapping up on tackles, and the biggie- not catching with your hands. My rule as coach would be, if the ball ever goes through your hands and bounces off your helmet, you're benched for the season.

 

Coach, do I have to wear a face mask?
If you are gonna bench me for the season at least give me a chance to catch it with my teeth.

I thought the game was very entertaining.

I loved the rain. Even the Purple Rain.

The game was still close enough to go either way until late in the 4th.

But hey, I understand some folks want it to be 55-7, pr 42-37 with no bad weather and only funny commercials with hot chicks.

The only let down to me were the commercials. Not as funny or original. How many different animals do we need to see talking?
