Cool Photo I took of a USCG Boat

Check out this USCG boat.

My wife & I just returned from a 7 day cruise
onboard the Caribbean Princess which set sail
from Fort Lauderdale on Jan 21st.

As the ship was leaving port, we were standing on our private balcony when I saw the USCG boat escort us out of the harbor.

The pic might be too small, so you might have to save it and enlarge it.

I was pretty impressed with all the guns this thing had
and being from Canada, I've never seen a Coast Guard boat
so well equipped.

It was our first time in Florida too (pretty awesome I have to say)
The trip was amazing, only bad part was having to come back.

Man, I bet you had a blast. The wife and I want to take a cruise and we want a private balcony too. How much difference in price are they...if you dont mind me asking?

Never been in 3 years...

I guess I should take my wife some time huh?

Hey Jamz!

The cruise was the best trip we've ever had, it was like a second honeymoon.
We're in our 19th year, and we were acting like 2 school kids who just started dating.

As far as I know about the balcony, it adds between $150 - $250 more per person to the cost of the cruise. (depending on the time of year, and depending on who you book through)

A lot of people don't want to spend the extra money, prefering to use that money for their ship-board account; however, if you like your privacy, it is worth every penny.

This was our first one, but now it will become a yearly event.

Wow vader, you should take advantage of those prices, that's like going for free almost, LOL.

I'm sure you would enjoy yourself.

Can I give you a call to get a quote?

Habibi,

Most people that go on cruises say the same thing when they come back. That is sorda what the wife and I are going to try to do too.

I've seen one of those boats (minus the guns) down in Port O'Connor, Texas. Actually scared the crap outta me as I was goofing around in the Intracoastal waterway before recovering my boat :o . They followed me for some time but they were recovering as well. Pretty neat boats, especially with dual 225's.
Scare #2, as I was locking the boat down, a couple of the guys came over.....but they invited us to come check the boat out and let my niece get onboard and monkey around with the sirens and loudspeaker. Nice bunch of guys , offered to buy the crew lunch but they had already eaten.

I should have a similar picture. However, we were on the old russian ship for a gambling cruise. It was Ft. Lauderdale though.

Not sure if these pics are working, but I have a few close-ups of the Defender Class A and B boats.
