If you had to listen to....

If you had to listen to music of a particular genre that you don't normaly listen to, who'd cause you the least amount of discomfort:

Rap: Ludacris

R&B: R. Kelly

Pop: Janet Jackson

Country: Rascal Flatts

Rock: Aerosmith

Hard Rock: (Don't know any of the groups)

Oldies: Cameo

If you could only bring 1 CD on a 6 hour round trip, who could you listen to for the entire 6 hour trip?

Artist or Group: R. Kelly

Rap:? It all sounds the same to me.
R&B: India.Arie
Pop:? You'd have to ask my girl about that.
Country:? It all sounds the same to me.
Rock: Incubus
Hard Rock: Tool
Oldies:? It all sounds old to me.

Artist or Group: Gotan Project.

There are so many music choices these days there aren't enough catagories. I listen to internet radio. There are many different genres. The stuff I've been listening to lately is in the genres of: downtempo, chill, world fusion.

I listen to a group called Soul Coughing. I don't know if they would be rock, or alternative, or....???. How about Estero? Is she pop? Is she R&B? I listen to some house, like them beats.

Lately, the music I play is stuff that can play in the background, with the sub woofer kicking a bit. That could be Theivery Corporation, Lords of Acid, or Cypress Hill, or even Lauryn Hill.

I' guess I've over-complicated the question.

I'll narrow it down to the exact album...

Rap: Dr. Dre "The Chronic"
R&B:BB King/Eric Clapton "Riding with the King"
Pop: Norah Jones "Come away with me"
Country: Alabama "For the record: 41 number one hits"
Rock: AC/DC "Live"
Hard Rock: Korn "Life is Peachy"
Oldies: The Beatles "White Album"

If you could only bring 1 CD on a 6 hour round trip, who could you listen to for the entire 6 hour trip?

Artist or Group: Me First and the Gimmie Gimmie's "Have a Ball"

If you don't own Me first and the gimmie gimmie's "have a ball" go and buy it now. Look at the song list... Its all punk/pop covers of some of the best 80's songs ever. It never gets old I promise.

Rap: This is what the "OFF" button is for. I'd rather drain the oil out of my engine on the side of the road and listen to it lock up, I think it'd be a lot more entertaining and it'd certainly have more musical value.
R&B: With emphasis on the "blues" part, Muddy Waters, probably the King of the Electric Blues album.
Pop: See the "Rap" reference.
Country: Hank Williams - Gold
Rock: A Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step
Hard rock: Tool - AEnima.
Oldies: Eric Clapton - Crossroads

Only one CD? Eric Clapton - Crossroads
