Hey Closer, check out this Belvedere story.

Tulsa to dig up 50 year buried car

"Organizers of a coming-out party for a buried 1957 Plymouth Belvedere could use some help.

The car, which was buried in brand-new condition under the lawn of the Tulsa County Courthouse in 1957, is scheduled to be unearthed June 15 as part of the Oklahoma Centennial."--CNN.com

What I wouldn't give to have buried some of the greats back in the day! '69 Camaro, GT500 Mustang (original), Shelby Cobra.

I found this story about 10 years ago when searching for a 58 plymouth "christine". I have been counting down the days since. I will be out there for the raising of the plymouth!

I remeber hearing about that a while back, didn't they bury a few barrels of gas with it incase gas was gone when it was unearthed? Imagine what that stuff will be like, but it will be orginial leaded. That alone would probably worth something now. Sell it on ebay in little vials......

They also buried with it contest entries with what people guessed the population of tulsa would be when they unearthed it. The prize of 100 dollars goes to the person (or their family) who guessed the closest.
