Parcells quit every HC job he had.
Johnson was a great Cowboys coach because he had all those draft pics from the Herschel Walker trade. How will he be good now with nothing to work with? The game passed Parcells by so I'm told, and it is definitely a different game from when Johnson coached also.
If the Cowboys were smart they would go young like the Steelers did by hiring Mike Tomlin. A bold move, and he will be an awesome coach in my book. Can the Cowboys follow suit? We'll see.

I am surprised Parcells quit. He's not a quitter. He's not that type of coach. He wasn't himself this year and I think it was because of Jones and TO. Dallas lost a great coach. But Dallas has lost a lot of class since the Schramm/Landry days. They're no longer America' Team.

but when Jimmy left, Jerry has been trying to hire coaches to suit his ownership style, which is hands on all involved ownership..that wont win superbowls. Barry's win was a fluke and a final result of Jimmy's era...
