Parcells quits.
I saw Dan Campbell, former Cowboy tight end, being interviewed on the news last night. he said parcels delay in announcing was just some more of his power play tactics. he likes all the players and asst coaches to be reliant on him. Said it was just how his mind works and that he had enjoyed not playing for him last year.

Bring Jimmy Back...
No coach in his right mind is going to come here and work under Jerry.
Jimmy, at least, knows what it's like going in, and cam make his demands prior to taking the job.
Thereby givign Jimmy full control (OR enough control) to do what he needs to do to make the team succeed.
1st suggestion: Trade T.O. or buy him some damn "Stick 'em"

Jerry should revise his contract with a clause that says "you lose $10,000 for every dropped pass" I bet the fool learns to catch then.
Has anyone turned on all the ESPNs and NFLN today? They are making it seem as if Parcells has passed away. Yes, I know that this is news, but didn't five other coaches either resign/fired too?
I think that there is another story that these sports stations could be covering. Say, the two championship games from yesterday.
I just seems to me, that since the Golden Boy Brady isn't in, and the Destined Saints are not in either no one wants to cover the other two teams.
One, the Colts, who most analysts (sp) say Peyton could never make it to the Super Bowl. And two the Bears who most analysts said were not good enough to make it.

49ers, Dallas, New England, Giants, and Pittsburg aren't playing, so- most of America doesn't care.
Football is like baseball once those four teams are out of the hunt; you know its on, but, can't bring yourself to watch it. Remember when people used to say the best Super Bowls were when Dallas and the 49ers meet for the NFC Championship? Or, "The Road to the Super Bowl goes through Dallas..." I remember hearing Brent Musburger and a lot of other analysts say that... I'm just a casual fan now; not nearly as rabid as I used to be prior to turning 18.

Yeah, I split yesterday: I thought New Orleans would spank Chicago (Near Equal defenses, with a more potent offense) and I predicted Indianapolis would beat New England... I said if NO could manage the ball, and not allow Chicago's D to put points on the board, or force any turnovers, that the Saints D could hold the Chicago offense in check...
Well, the Bears force 4 turnovers from the Saints, and although they didn't directly put points on the oard, they set up Chicago's offense with a very short field, allowing 3 touchdowns on 4 turnovers. 21 of the 39 points.

- Colts: Hat's off to Peyton Manning. 'Bout time son! For a minute I thought he had the early Elway syndrome.
- Saints: I wish you guys had made it- you played with a LOT of heart in the games I saw you play this year, winning everyone I watched (Dallas, Philly, and Atlanta x 2)
- Chicago: It's been 21 years, but the Bears are doing the Superbowl shuffle again.
- Patriots: You got this far by luck (OK, and some solid playing). Be glad your season lasted this long.

I am surprised Parcells quit. He's not a quitter. He's not that type of coach. He wasn't himself this year and I think it was because of Jones and TO. Dallas lost a great coach. But Dallas has lost a lot of class since the Schramm/Landry days. They're no longer America' Team.
