Benny's gone...

Benny Parsons has died of cancer at age 65.

RIP Benny, you were one of the few nascab announcers I could take for more than a minute, a truly nice guy and will be missed.

i never really liked him on nbc for announcing, but its still sad to see him go.

I did not care for his announcing all that much either, then realized it was NBC's whole crew and their style that I did not like. He was a great driver.

I agree, I can't stand Bill Webber.....I liked the other guy, Alan Bestwick was it? Bill Webber comes off as a grouch to me.

Thank you for that report Blue, I'm gonna totally contradict you or question your report for a few seconds and then go to commercial, come back from commercial to see the yellow waving and then back to commercial.
