Benny Parsons has died of cancer at age 65.

RIP Benny, you were one of the few nascab announcers I could take for more than a minute, a truly nice guy and will be missed.

Bobby Hamilton and now BP. :(

i never really liked him on nbc for announcing, but its still sad to see him go.

I did not care for his announcing all that much either, then realized it was NBC's whole crew and their style that I did not like. He was a great driver.

I agree, I can't stand Bill Webber.....I liked the other guy, Alan Bestwick was it? Bill Webber comes off as a grouch to me. :coffee:

The way they deliver some point of interest then call the next persons name drives me insane, Budda?

Thank you for that report Blue, I'm gonna totally contradict you or question your report for a few seconds and then go to commercial, come back from commercial to see the yellow waving and then back to commercial. :D

RIP Benny & Bobby. Sure won't be the same.

NBC blows. Let's all hope ESPN does well.
