Is this weird?

Hey everyone.

Most people, when they call their dog, they say something along the lines of, "here boy", "good dog", or whatever.

Well, I call our dog bad names, but in the same tone.

For example, "Miaghe, come here you cheap *****" .. and sometimes worse.

Now, I know that would be verbal abuse to a human, to have a dog come when I call him a *****, or $2 gutter ****...now is that weird.

Of course, I don't say these horrible things in front of the kiddo's....just the nasty, trashy, stinking, mutt.

So, is that weird?

Nice sig BREW.

It entertains the company.

I'll ask Miaghe, "Mo, do you want to go live outside in the freezing rain you worthless piece of monkey sh*t"? (but I say these things in a normal voice)

He'll come up to me waggin his tail with his tongue sticking out. He knows only curse words with me, and he responds to them like a dog would to "come boy".

It's a safety feature.

If someone wanted to steal him, and they called him in "doggie language", he wouldn't know how to react.

I though that's how you're supposed to talk to your dogs. I call one of my labs in from the back yard by saying "Lunchbox, get in here you fat A$#." She comes right away. She is such a good dog.

COOL!

I'm not the only one.

I also ask him if he wants to go live at the pound when he does something bad.....he knows he's in trouble. See, "bad dog" is just too lame. "Miaghe, your gonna go live at the pound, pack your stuff" !

I love it.

I had a buddy who named his dog "You Sh#thead", just so he could stand at the back door and yell:

"GET IN HERE, YOU SH#THEAD!!!"

The neighbors weren't nearly as amused as we were...

I don't mind working in the cold, it's getting to the jobsite that scares me. I'll be the first to admit that I don't have a clue on how to drive on icy roads, it's the yahoo's around me that think they can or have no common sense and haul *** like it's dry - that's who scares me. The only work I may attempt today is to head to the office (of the custom home builder I do work for) to pick up a check........but that can wait.

So for now...I'm doing this

Jamz, a dog with a name like Miaghe is probably only too happy to answer to whatever else you call it.

I hear that man...people here think "ehh, I've been driving in this all my life, I know how to do it" and then usually end up in a ditch.

And the only work I'm gonna do today is surf the net and eat some lunch

Oh...and hijack all of Jamz's threads today
