Morning Jim.

How's the weather treating you? It was a sum-bisch to drive in at 5 AM.

It was the first time I ever drove 45 MPH down HWY 31.

Yep, we have a lot of ice. 45 was about what I drove on I-20, slower on the country roads. Just thankful it is a holiday and traffic was light.

Amen.

Some dolt passed me this morning, and I swear, he was doing a good 80 MPH.

I said to myself, "he must not understand the physics of an ICY ROAD".

It's snowing so hard that this morning I had to drive to work in 4 wheel hi. It's just complete white outs today. Hwy 12 is down to one lane.

Jamz goes ice fishing all the time. He ices down a 12 pack and hits the water! He sits on the bank and throws a line in. He don't use any bait, he doesn't want the fish interrupting him.

Believe it or not but since its been so warm here lately the lakes really have'nt froze over that well. But in the next couple of weeks we should be hitting our cold snap and should start to see night temps hit -45 for a couple of weeks (generally 2 to 3 weeks it sometimes hits that at night but thats only at night though)

I remember one time it hit -52 and the snowmobile would not start.

Nah, I wouldn't say its THAT wierd. When I was a kid I remember my dad yelling at our black lab after she chewed something up... He was doing the whole discipline thing and he grabbed her head and looked straight into her eyes and said "Bad dog! Bad dog! You're worse than Rodney Dangerfield!!" Still makes me smirk

Oh, its a balmy 71 degrees and partly sunny here in NC
