You should apply at any local truck lines for night time dock work. They usually start at around 4 or 5 o'clock and work for about 4 or 5 hours. Most truck lines pay decent hourly wages to dock workers. I don't know if you have any nearby, but Fedex Ground actually puts money toward college for every hour worked. Another big plus is that most truck lines don't operate on the weekends. That's my advice anyhow.

You could always be a "male dancer". Tips are pretty good.

Most LTL (less than load) carriers here in south Ga (Fedex freight,USF Holland,Ups freight) start their dock workers out anywhere from $10 to $14/hr. Not too shabby for starting pay.

I think working in an auto parts store would be good. Not sure how much they pay. It all depends on your location.

Yet another good suggestion. Flexible hours and a discount.

I worked as a grocery store sacker/stocker/cashier, as an employee at a video rental store similar to Blockbuster, and as a pharmacy technician. I enjoyed all of my jobs even though they didn't really pay very well. A good job will teach you a lot of things that you will never learn in school.

If you really want to make a lot of money, you can probably work unlimited hours in construction during the Summer. I am not sure what the legal age to serve alcohol in PA is? This could hinder your ability to get a job as a waiter. The bonus in being a bustboy is that you could probably hook up with some attractive female co-workers (there have to be a few at every restaurant). Mowing yards/raking leaves is also a good one if you aren't scared of a little hard work or getting your hands dirty.

Another option is to try to find something that you are interested in. If you think that you like auto mechanics, get a job at a shop somewhere. This similar line of thinking is what got me a job at a pharmacy and now I work as a pharmacist at a local hospital.

Surely you can think of some things that you would like to do.

You have to remember that most people don't go to the airport everyday. I rarely fly, and when I do I feel like a complete retard. They treat you like retards at the airport. Where else does the consumer have to remove their shoes before entering the place where they wish to do business.

While I understand your attitude towards casual travelers, remember that some people don't spend their life in the airport and may only travel once or twice a year. Maybe you should look at things from their perspective before deeming them retards.

Of course, I fully realize that there are quite a few real retards or idiots travelling around the world and I am sure that you have dealt with your share of those too.

When I was your age I selected jobs based entirely on how much "poon tang" I could scam while I was on the clock! You have all your life to make money, but only a few precious years to chase ******* -- live large while you can!

I work in cargo, no where near passengers (except the ones that cant count or understand that they can only take 3 bags with them and bitch to me when the extra goes as cargo). I try to give them the benefit, but 75% of the ones that come are pretty much retards.
