94 Explorer HELP

94 Explorer HELP

Explorer dome Light came on and will not turn off check all doors and the switch 3 times I have no idea what it could be Please help thanks Mikedanner

Yes I did that already But i still would like to know whats wrong any ideas

Prolly one of the door buttons is fubar-ed.

This might sound stupid, but did you check the headlight switch to make sure it didn't get turned on by accident? I had this happen in my Ranger a couple of times and had it not been for the cargo light I would have never noticed until the battery was dead.

Try a can of WD40 on the door switches, they are in the door latch... this is a common problem.

Nope. Not applicable. It's a 94 Explorer. Pay attention!

Indeed, it's likely one of the pin switches. There's a pin switch in all the door jambs. One of them probably stuck.
