Guys/Gals, i have never asked before but now seems like as good time as any. A friend i work with, his daughter was born the day after Christmas, his third child. About 4-6 hours after she was born, she started turning blue. They discovered the valves in her heart are not functioning properly, so she is not getting oxygen to her body. Yesterday she stared to experiance kidney and liver failure, so she was placed on life support. After a series of tests to detemine if her body will reject a transplant, she was found to be accetable and placed on the transplant list. She is tiny, born 4 weeks early. It is a very draining time for him and his family. Please keep them in your prayers, if you so desire.


Also, got an email this morning from my best friend. He has been married for 4 months and they just recently found they were expecting. His wife miscarried late last night after a month and a half. Please keep them in prayes as well. The new year is not starting off to well for people around me it seems...

 

My wife and I are expecting and I can't imagine either of those scenarios. I recently experienced a tragic loss in my family so I can imagine what they are going through.

I have 2 boys 1 and 3 and I never wanted kids, now that I have them they are the best things to ever happen to me. My prayer will go out to both. Can't stand to hear an inocent child needing help.

 

We had compleciations with our first born, nothing to this magnitude, I can't imagine.

I have been through the same thing. We lost our first child to a miscarraige at aboout 8 weeks 3 years ago. Had no luck until a year ago and ended up losing the second one at about 7 weeks. All that I can say is that as the time goes by, the pain will ease.
