Just be thankful the Liberal government is not in office anymore and be thankful Stephen Harper is Prime Minister. Liberals wanted to open imigration from the middle east and wanted to speed up the background check. That was not cool. Those **** h0les are gone now thank god.

So lets just send the Mexican government a monthly bill. If they have an easement right to enter the United States, then lets bill Mexico for each citizen that is already here....or did I mis-understand the quote in your post?

The Republicans who have had control of the federal government for what 10 years, and have done absolutely nothing. They are controlled by big business that wants the cheap labor.
Both parties are responsible and should share the blame.
However, I blame the GOP more because the pay lip service to border control and then do nothing at least the liberals are up front about it.

It seems to me, this is a case where the Government worked as advertised. No one cared (or so it seemed) about illegal aliens until the last 2 years. Now it's huge news. It appears to me that the Gov did exactly what the people wanted, nothing. Now that an uproar has been called for, they are doing what the people want but partisan politics are determining the course of action, not common sense.
I am 100% against any illegal immigration. I don't care if I have to pay $5 for a head of lettuce. Do it correctly or don't do it at all. My wife is a permanent resident alien & it cost us over $2000 in fees for the priviledge of her accompaning me during my PCS from over seas. No one should be able to skate the system, no one.

The government is doing a darn thing. They just put eyewash out for the sheeple. Even ole Gee Dubya himself called the Minute Men 'vigilantes'.
What's going on everyone...I haven't made many post since my joining this site because I deployed soon after....
We don't have enough Border Patrol Agents and just did deploy enough N.G members to the border....
Here is my arguement: The Navy has a planned downsize of 75,000 sailors and the Airforce is also downsizing (not sure to what extent though) anyway
why is it that the Government is not saying "Lets take these 75K sailors and however many Airman and give them the option to switch over as border patrol agents vice just sending them with the pink slips" while keeping our borders safe, we keep the unemployment rate down.....
Just a thought of an active service member!!
