Maybe a little research into Regressed offenders and you'll see why your post here show signs that you could be a sexual predator.

So now you are the threat to your neighborhood.... what should be done about you?
Call the law???
Nope you havent done anything yet so they cant help...
Cant shoot yea....
Treble hooks or razor blades or shreded glass in your food maybe?
Nicotine overdose?

Now that it's you "Mr. Bubbadewsky", and we must protect our kids at all cost.... what should our course of action be?

Looks like all you can resort to is name calling and disrespect. This has dipped to a new low.

No sir, no name calling, merely suggesting a threat exist unfortunatly the threat is you.
Simply used the same pychology and logic that you used to assume the dog was a threat to you.
Seems pretty ignorant and low dont it?

Respect on the other hand..... yea you dont have mine. Far from it. Dont expect any from me.

And just think these people own pitbulls, bet they wouldn't hesitate sicking them on people like me who have a different opinion. Anyone who acts like some of these people just prove my point. Still haven't had a reasonable answer about muzzles.

You could only have muzzled dogs outside of the owner's property. At home the dog would be free to roam on the owner's property (fenced in, chained down, whatever)
That should be all dogs......

I did just lose my dog today do to natural causes, so maybe I am a over sensitive to the subject. I did step over the line to prove a point... Bubbadewsky you logic was not there beofre and is not there now... it was self described by you as low when you seen it used else where, yet you call it justified when you do it..... I dont get the hipocracy.

I'm all for muzzles. I'm sure we could get you a straight-jacket to go with it. Hitler had a different opinion, too. FYI

You want an answer...well here is an answer for you:

Muzzles are not the answer because they restrict a dog from disapating body heat...ever see a dog pant? The reason dogs pant is because the only way a dog "cools" itself is thru its mouth...how would you like it if someone clogged 40% of your sweat glands on a hot summer day? I know I would not like that.

Do us all a favor and stop letting emotions cloud the facts...

Edit: Matt, I am sorry to hear of your families loss...tell your kids to keep their chins up

Thanks, I wasnt that close to this one, its tearing me up to see the kids tore up though. I lost my Siberian Husky a few years ago and this Pomerianian of thiers didnt come close in my eyes. He could not fill the shoes. The kids were fine all night, even looking online for another one.... but come bed time it was like it really hit them, it's been two hours of weeping now.

Thru all this BS, I've yet to read a single legit reply to the original problem.

I've had the same problem at my house. My former neighbor spent 2 weeks or so in a hospital bed from a dog attack. He was mauled by two strays. They looked like Pits but I'm not sure if they were. If they were, they were definitely not pure bred. I called the cops during the attack & they didn't do anything or even respond. I finally got them to respond by asking them if I could shoot the dogs. When they showed up, they didn't rush to the medical aid of the individual. No, they showed up & asked me where my gun was. I told them to go F themselves. My neighbor has since moved. He moved right after he settled his lawsuit with the offending jurisdiction.

So thru all this BS, what is a reasonable suggestion for a problem dog/animal? You can't shoot them in crowded residential areas. Poison could get something that was not intended to be poisoned. Hooks in meat are beyond cruel. Asking the owners to do anything is pretty much useless. If no one (myself included) has any decent suggestion then this thread is pretty much useless banter.

My only suggestion would be a baited trap & then turn the animal into the pound. Another neighbor did that to reduce the stray cat count around our houses. For every cat she caught, she caught 2 racoons. Let me tell you, racoons DO NOT like to be caught in a trap.

KC-10 FE out...
