That is actually 3 pics put together, she dont fit in any of the other two, in fact the lighting doesnt match on any of the 3, but that is all hidden. Slight of hand to distract the eyes so to speak.

For snapshots I use wallgreens, ours is a new lab and the techs seem to be knowledgable and care about the print quality. For important jobs I go through Mpix.com (which uses Millers lab) but you dont have to do the $5000 in bussines annually.
I have three Wal-Mart super centers within driving distance of me. Two of them suck ***. The closest one is actually quite good. The dept. manager is actually way too good for the company but her husband makes a crap load of money and she just works there to keep busy. Everything in the lab is cleaned corrected and tested daily. The Fuji Frontier minis are even checked for correctness twice a day. She is also very strict about copyright release forms. I did some family portraits for my sister. She didn't want to bother me with the printing so I told her to take them to this lady and ask for her personally. A couple hours later I got a phone call from her asking for permission to print them.

I've got some sigs to make, then I'll ask around in approproiate forums and see if anyone knows a reputable site. Tha twas just the first one in a google search.

I just checked the gamma on both of mine. 1.8 on the laptop and 1.5 on the CRT.

Paintshop Pro is very simple and user friendly. It was designed for soccermoms for god sake. Work with it a bit you will figure it out quite quickly. If you have trouble just remember google is your friend. If you still have trouble don'tever even consider Photoshop

edit to add: layers are your best friend when working with photo editing software

If you've got time.... I appreciate other peoples work more than my own.

I'm not picky, if you want to throw in some hottie that is cool, I dont necesarily want my truck in it. So let your imgination run and slap my name in it somewhere.

Sorry it took so long. I had to dig out a movie and find the right scene to get a screen shot. Anyway......
