I'd ship ya a monitor for free but the shipping would cost more than finding a cheap one on the net...

Hey Wild Mtn Rose!

We have many second-hand computer stores around here where on can buy a used monitor on the cheap--- probably the same for you, as well. Did I see a Regency wood stove in your home? It looks likes the same kind that we use to heat our home!

Yea Vader, I think the shipping would be pretty ridiculous, those things are heavy!! We didn't have an opportunity to hook up my monitor today, I had to work and the hubby had to clear snow!! Maybe tomorrow,he doesn't use the computer often so its not urgent.

Nope, no wood stove. We have a Rinnai propane furnace and a propane fireplace insert in the main living area and electric baseboard heat in all the bedrooms.

Well, its not the monitor, we hooked it up to my computer this morning and it works fine. Sooo...off to the local computer shop cuz my hubby doesn't want to mess with the inside of the computer, makes him nervous. If my son was still here I'd have him take it apart, he's installed video cards before.
