Snowing

It's snowing real bad. Expected as much as 24-36 inches. Schools are closed, large corporations are closing, small companies are closing, our CEO offers to buy us lunch.

Two things...

1. I'm jealous...I want snow.

2. You can't hate you new boss already do you? The last guy was Satan who's this? The Anti-Christ?

No everyone I work with is real cool. Especially my Boss. I dont know the CEO all that well, I just thought it was funny. Most my co-workers are fairly disgruntled but it doesn't bother me much. I have plenty of stuff to do on the ole computer today so I'm happy sitting right here.

I do agree, we need snow. One like that, 24-36" would be nice.

How do her personal actions tie into a snow storm?

Not cloud in the sky here super sunny out. Cool out about -2 or 0 out. No snow now. I wish it would get cold and the rest of the lakes would freeze so I can go ice fishing!!!!

Not to derail this thread but I'll share a little story here about stupid bosses/CEOs. (Hey, my oatmeal is cooking and I feel like typing, deal with it).

Back in '92 when the Lost Angeles riot was going full force, I worked at a post-house in Hollywood. The rioting had reached Hollywood and there were building burning all over the place. The police entered the building and informed us that they "recommended" we evacuate. The owner of the company (who was one of the cheapest bastards/slave drivers to walk the face of the earth) wouldn't let anyone go and told us to continue working (because you know how important it is to edit commercials!), and so everyone stayed . . .except our clients who all got the hell out of there.

Twenty mins later two buildings a block away were set on fire and people were running by our building. The cops came back in and told us to leave. A-hole boss said "Hold on, it's not that bad. The women can go but the rest of us need to stay."

To which I said out-loud. "The women can go? What do you think this is, the Titanic? Then consider me a little girl 'cause I'm outa here." And the senior editor added "F this". and we all left.

Then, two years later in '94 the big earthquake hit. My place was totaled (it took two years to rebuild). Somehow, I don't know how he accomplished it, about 2 hours after the quake my cell phone rang and it was dipchit boss wanting to know if I could come in early to help clean up the facility and then work . . . to which I replied "F you".

At least your guy is offering to buy you lunch and your life isn't in the balance.
