So it took almost 3 hours to drive 15 miles home. Once I got home, I got warm clothes and went out to help others. Here's what I rescued

3 Sedans
1 Van
1 Police Explorer (Got stuck trying to push out the first Sedan I rescued)

It's definately a blizzard. The wind is very cold. Here are some quick nightime pix.

THINK. AGAIN.

Because it . . . AIN'T. GONNA. HAPPEN.

You would be wise to cancel your flight and take either Continental or American. Both fly out of John Wayne and into Lambert. They will undoubtedly connect through one of their hubs, but both are in Texas where they are NOT re-enacting the ice-age.

Continental would connect thru Houston (at bush International . . . yeah, I know, but on my last trip back I had to connect thru B.I. and I was able to do it without throwing up, or being abducted by Fascist Secret Police, so you should be fine), and American connects thru DFW.

Even if you have to pay a penalty for not using your ticket, it will be well worth it.

Just a suggestion (but a really good one).

If you try your scheduled flight on Sunday thru Denver, I figure we won't hear back from you till Tuesday at the earliest.

Bon voyage.

:santa:
