What does World Class mean?

Honestly I have pondered this for a while, I have almost decided to throw it into the heap of pile of phrases that companies use to make themselfs and or thier products appear supperior to thier competitors or thier competitors products wit hnothign to back it up.

It's self explanatory, I'm sorry if you can't comprehend.

I'm a semi intelligent person with a slightly higher than average IQ, so I can absorb new information rather easily, I'd say even a vague definition would help.

Mag - While I agree that many companies use of such phrases as "World Class" is hyperbole (read "the usual marketing drivel"), any company that built the SR-71 Blackbird, the U2, the C-130, the Constellation, et al. ranks pretty high in my opinion.

I am familiar with Lockheed Martin (LMT), no one can deny that they are the world's largest defense contractor..... I just cringe when anyone says "world class" (what ever that is)..... Especially when referring to such a prestigious company.
