I guess you have never driven a MErcedes or a BMW---if yo did , you would realize the quality that they offer; at an expensive price, of course. BMW's and Mercedes are exceptional automobiles.

Ive been pleased with the Fords I have owned. The '99 Ranger I used to have and the '99 F-150 I have now were good trucks.
I used to own Toyotas and honestly, Id never want to own another import again. Parts are so much less expensive and easier to find for the domestics and honestly, the domestics are just as reliable as any Toyota or Honda. The domestics have really stepped in up whereas the imports have really had their quality decline. Toyotas and Hondas are not the trouble-free vehicles they used to be.

Why?! Why?! WHY?!

Why did you have to resurrect a thread with mountaineer in it? Especially one referring to his love of unions and hate of foreign automakers!

For the sake of all that is holy, let this thread drift back into nothingness.

Please?

When did Mattineer move to Missouri? Lord, he closer to me now!

FWIW, I've never had a Ford let me down.

I only drive a Ford because I have to.

I laugh every time I hear "Ford Quality" It make me think of all the problems I've had.........

I'll drive anything but my Ford if I can, It sucks to break down all the time. If you must drive a Ford, I recommend not leaving home without the cell phone, a good pair of walking shoes, and a AAA card or phone book for towing companies.

My F150 has over 200,000 miles on it now and I will tow the travel trailer in my sig anywhere.... If I could get enough time off and had enough money to do it, I'd be going cross county with it tomorrow!

Just 'cause you got a bad apple does not mean the entire lot is bad..... My Dad still has his 1971 F250 that he bought brand new in 1970. Sure, it's not a daily driver for the last 25 years or so, but it still does it's share of dirty work on his property...

Going around the forum pulling up 2 year old threads about everyone's good experiences with their F150s and putting your negative input in them? Classy.

this guy (Whiteghost) is just a troll, probably from a 'yota or 'tundra forum whining about how his "new truck" sucks compared to his old ford and he's wanting to get back into a Ford...

there's a reason the F-150 has been the best selling truck in the United States for many years.
