Fake or Real Christmas tree? What do you guys have, like, prefer?

I gotta have a real one, Fake just doesnt do it for me. I do have a fake one in the living room, but I have a real 10' tree out back in the family room.

I am all for easy as hell and not having to clean up after it... so we have one that the lights is already on and everything, each year just take it out of the box, put the 3 pieces together, and plug her in!

And as for fake or real... so long as the uhh tree is nice and big and plump and teh tree doesn't sag to the floor all the time, I'm ok with artificial

I would prefer artificial but my wife won't hear of it.

We are traveling this holiday season so it's no tree.

Although I did have to hang 10 window wreaths and everynight there are 17 plugs or switches I have to turn on by 6 and off by 11. :santa:

Hmmm, weird..dunno guys. It always seems to be more work to "fluff" the damn branches on the artificial tree than it is to put the live one in a stand. Took me all of about 15 minutes to get the tree out of the truck, secured in the stand and standing straight up. I've had the artificial up for a week and I'm still fuggin with them branches to make it look right....and yes, it's a good one, not one of those cheapo Charlie Brown looking things..

If I could not have a real one, I would not have one. We always buy a live one, then plant it on the property. Some have died, but others have done very well.

When we had live ones that is what we did as well. Really helps on dropping needles and such, plus the property gets a new tree afterwards.

Its always a real tree for me. You people that can't take the time to setup a real tree are just kidding yourselfs (or your some lazy B1tches). I have a blasom fur thats 13.5ft. tall. I will post a pic soon. The smell is real, the season seems more real, the kids really enjoy it, and we have a townwide bonfire after xmas and we burn them all.

Please, do tell.

A dozen candles in six different rooms,
24 foot of lighted green stuff,
2 lite wreaths inside the house,
a giant spotlight on the whole house,
and that godawful thing her sister gave us in the foyer....

How do I On/Off them all at once?

If I use the Main circuit breaker it's
no refridgerator
no alarm clock
and no coffee in the morning.

p.s. no two items share the same outlet, would i need 17 timers, all sychronized?

I love real trees, but like Vader said, too much work. I have a nice artifial tree. You can put it up as early as you want and take it down as late as you want. You don't have to keep picking up the ornaments that keep falling or vacuming up the fallen needles twice a day. I do miss the smell though, so I burn lots of pine/evergreen candles to help that.
