Guys I know how you feel. I bought a new 2002 silver L and kept it 2 years and then sold it. Early 2005 bought a 1995 Lightning and tinkered with it and then sold it 1 year later. Ultimately I missed the GEN 2 L everyday and was not happy without one again. So last week I came upon a 2001 White Lightning with 15,400 miles and always garage kept and bought it. The smiles are back and I love hearing that supercharger whine. It seems once you've had one of these trucks it's just not the same without one.

I went from 96 Cobra Convert to 02 Lightning
Selling it WAS A HUGE MISTAKE

Sold it on 6/6/6 bought a MINT 99 GT Convert, put a Procharger, Gears, Shifter, and other Mods on it, turned it into a BEAST, and then bought another Lighting on 11/10/06 and just turned it into a SUPER BEAST

I do miss my GT, it was HOT..................... (sold it last weekend)

BUT I CANT LIVE WITHOUT A LIGHTNING

and this one is going to be fun (NOW) .....

GOOD LUCK AND DONT WORRY, YOU CAN ALWAYS SELL AND BUY

Normally I'd say getting into a "L" would involve trading up. But in your case, it might not be that easy of a call.......
