Roll out the welcome mats

Hi all, I just registered for the forums. I bought a 2003 F350 on Saturday and traded in my brand new car for it. I had bought a Scion tC (which is a 2dr coupe for those who dont know) in March this year and I recently decided I wanted to get into dirt track racing. Clearly a 4 cylinder coupe isnt going to pull a 5,000lb trailor so I needed to do something. I had no intention of ever buying a truck this big. The dealer didnt have anything in 4wd in a half ton size. So they just had to show me this truck, which wasnt even close to being in my budget cuz they had a sticker for 13,900 on it. So he pulls it around and when I saw it I thought..."UH OH, THATS NICE" lol. They ended up giving me almost what I paid for my scion and knocked A LOT off the sticker. So I went for it, and I'd like to think I made a good deal. Its a superduty with the Triton V10 with 78k miles. The dealer must have put the bed liner in it because underneath its kinda scratched up. But aside from the unbalacned rear tires, which they fixed, and a mild vibration coming from the driver front its a great vehicle and I think I got a pretty darn good price! Here's a pic:

Just thought I'd say hey everyone. CHEERS!

Thanks everyone, yes this is is for pulling a stock car trailor, not racing the actual truck lol.

I bought the 2wd because I dont honestly need 4x4 where I live. Im not going to get into crazy places where I would need 4wd like mudding or driving around in the woods. Plus 2wd is supposed to be easier on gas. But the main reason I bought this was because I couldnt sell my car outright and they gave me what the car was worth so I had to take it. Plus trucks dont lose value as much and I wont put many miles on it since I work from home. So if I chose to sell it I could still get a decent amount out of it.

I was shocked at the power, its not slow but it certainly isnt very fast...but it is a 1 ton. My dad has an 03 SS Silverado with the 6.0L V8 and his would spank this V10 into oblivion! Pretty sad but its true. His makes ~365chp with 2 less cylinders and 0.8L less. But I didnt buy this for speed, I have a toy already.

Does anyone know what the V10 is rated for as far as HP and Torque? I would assume this has buttloads of torque specifically for pulling and probably not much HP. Thats just a guess from driving it for a few days.
