Rejuvinate your ride: Pick One

Which one do you prefer? I like Pimp My Ride, OverHaulin, Trick my Truck, etc... But, after watching 5-6 episodes of a Trick My Truck marathon, I realized that at the end of the day, not much was different. Chip Foose & Company seem to be more into Hot Rodding, and American Muscle only, so when it comes to overall customizing, I have to give the thumbs up to: "Pimp My Ride".

At least its a variety.
  • Pimp My Ride
  • OverHaulin'
  • Trick My Truck

I tried to do a poll, but I don't see where to do it.

I wish there was a show that would take a stock Jeep or 4x4 or one thats beat down and build it up full on for the rocks or whatever (not for Mall Crawlin' and NOT looking like it drove through VatoZone with a CRAP MAGNET!!!). This show doesn't exist.

So, my vote is for Pimp My Ride. Simply because of the EXTREME makeovers I've seen them do on some MAJOR BEATERS...

overhaulin All the way! they take cars that people wanted to restore but ran out of money and or time, and help them finish them the way they wanted em.

pimp my ride is pointless b.c they pick people that have trashy cars they ovbiously cant maintain, and make them errr "nice"

and trick my truck just dont understand it b.c its like who really give a flyin Fck about big rigs....

Except for the crappy jokes they play on people's dream car in the making. That part sucks.

Pimp my ride is cool because they help deserving young people who need a break.

I think it's a tie with overhaulin and pimp my ride for me.

Much respect to Chip, especially on an American car... In fact, if I ever have the money, I'm giving Chip a 2000 Expedition EB 4x2 5.4L, a blank check, and tell him, "Surprise me".

The only thing I'd stipulate, is that I wanted 4 buckets in it, 2,000 watt stereo minimum, and the widest low profile tires on 24" rubber that could fit under the body, and still allow me to make turns- even if he had to do some cutting.

After that, whatever he wanted, including the Lightning engine, bigger supercharger, lowrider, sick Foose rims, One color paint, I HATE two-tone, pin stripes and razzed paint jobs and the works...

But, if I had a 1994 - 1997 Toyota Supra I wanted done, I'm not sure Chip would be my "go-to" guy.

I was at a car show this weekend and there was a Chip Foose car on display. The owner was signing autographs....what a bunch of tools.

'Nother vote for Overhaulin. More my style, plus they actually do good work with no rice.

PMR is just dumb IMO. Stupid stuff done with cars (do you really want neons, a fish tank, and tacky paint schemes??) I swear when I was watching one that I could still see primer on the very bottoms of the rocker panels...like then didnt even bother to paint the bottom 4 inches of the car. Some of the ideas are cool, its like they just did it so it looks kinda sorta decent, and works, and then called it good. If they could get some of their ideas to look completed, some of it woulnt be bad. And like I said, its to ricer for me. The talk on their bothers me too "Yo dawg, this is gonna be off the CHAIN YO WHAAAAAAAAAT, blah blah blah" ****...

TMT-seems to be some nice work, some cool ideas, some dumb ideas. Havent really watched it enough to really get a good opinion of it.

Chip Foose could overhaul my truck anyday...if PMP got ahold of it though...Id cry, 'accidentally' burn it up, then collect insurance...
