Cool new MP3 player!
A few weeks ago the wife and I got new phones ( we're on Cingular BTW). I got a Motorola L2. Mine is a work phone, so I had to take what I could get. The wife got the new LG CU500 flip phone. She didn't really care about all the MP3 stuff, and then decided she didn't want a flip phone, so she swapped phones with me. I just wanted to be able to make calls. Then found out about all the MP3 capabilities. Well, I've been looking for a new MP3 player, since the headphone jack gave out on my old one. I now use it as an SD card reader for the PC...
Well, finally decided to look more into the MP3 aspects today, and found out I could get Bluetooth headphones. So, went to Cingular and they were now running a deal on the headphones when you buy the LG, and since it hadn't been 30 days we were able to get them at half price, plus bought a 1GB Micro SD card for the phone, and right now I'm listening to ZZ Top's Pearl Necklace (good song, check it out newb's) from my phone through the new headphones. BTW, they sound pretty dadgum good too...
Still got a few things to figure out... Like making playlists, and for some reason the play/pause and next and previous buttons don't work on the headphones, but not a huge problem just yet, since those buttons are also on the outside of the phone...
Oh, and if I get a call while listening to music I can just slide out the microphone to answer the call. Then slide it back to end the call. Or just hold down the play button to ignore. The sound quality doesn't seem to be too good when using the headphones to talk to someone, but I doubt I'll be doing that very often...
Just thought I'd pass this along.

Sounds like BS to me, I think he was just trying to sell me stuff I didn't really need.
The Micro card comes with a regular size SD Card adapter. You just slide the Micro into the adapter, and then it will work in any SD Card reader. I just put the new Micro card into the adapter, put that in my old MP3 player, and filled it up with music, then just dropped it into the phone.
I have since figured out how to make playlists on the phone, and for some reason all the buttons now work. I love it! It's got some hiss in between songs, and in really quiet spots of songs, but not that big of a deal to me...
I've used it quite a bit already, and actually taken a few calls with it...
