I hate when you NEED something and can't get it. My furnace was out when I got home tonight. Techs checked it need the parts. Naturally the places to get them closed early today. And closed tomorrow, and probably Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. At to make it even worse, the parts were replaced less than a year ago. It won't cost me anything except not having heat for 5 days +.
Only thing I have is a kerosene heater and a small propane heater, which means getting up in the middle of the night to light them off for a while.

Sometimes I hate holidays!

Have a detector and the heater doesn't run all the time. Had to use it before for 4 days due to a power failure after an ice storm. I am on the end of the line so I got power last. At least this time I have power so i can watch TV, etc.
