I love the current look of the Stang. It's the first American car I've fallen this hard for since the I first saw a 69 Mach. I've been gaga all my life over Stangs.

My Uncle raced for Ford back in the late 60s thru 1972, and my family has probably owned 40 of them at one time or another. I've had 3 of them of my own.

That same Uncle owned a 69 Boss 302, a 70 Boss 302, a 66 Fastback, a 71 Boss 351, a 70 Sportsroof with a 6 cylinder, a 50 something T-bird, and a 1988 Stang all at one time. When he got divorced, everything but the 88 got sold. Just made the whole family sick. The 69 Boss was the cleanest, most original Boss I've ever come across. Some guy from Oklahoma bought both the Boss 302s, and if he's still got them, he's sitting on a small fortune. The 70 was a factory built for racing, twin 4bbl bad motor scooter.

The current body style is the first design I've found acceptable since 1970. I just go nuts over them. Maybe someday I'll buy a used 05 and paint it up like the original Boss 302 scheme.

Why I just rambled about all that, I've no idea. Time for bed.

Good Night LT
