It Was Great While It Lasted...

But, now the Dumbacrats will screw this country into the ground. This article sums it all up pretty well. If you think the cost of living is high now, you ain't seen nothing yet.

CAMPAIGN 2006: IS IT GOOD FOR AMERICA ?

By Jan Markell

In the interest of time and limited space, let me give a quick summary of how I see the 2006 election playing out in the next two years--and perhaps many years to come. Yes, I will hear from many of you with angry e-mails but I'm getting tougher skin over the years. While the points below are pessimistic, I will end on a more uplifting note.

* Many Americans wanted change and "a new direction." For them, just about any change and/or new direction will do.

* Despite traditional mistrust for pollsters, their predictions proved shockingly accurate.

* Forget the conventional wisdom about gaps between red and blue states.

* Jews who should know conservatives are their only friends still voted 87% Democrat. It's a family tradition not easily broken.

* An amnesty bill is coming. The Democrats and the President want it and a few Republicans were and are trying to put a finger in this dam.

* Very leftist liberals will take over key committee chairmanships.

* Charles Rangle will assume Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, the most powerful committee in the House. It has jurisdiction over taxes, trade, Social Security, and Medicare. Rangle has said he would put all Bush tax cuts on the chopping block.

* Fellow Democrats could, over time, impose a cumulative tax increase of $2.4 trillion.

* John Conyers of Michigan will likely initiate any impeachment proceedings against the President. This leads to national destabilization as with Watergate when the stock market cost investors billions.

* John Murtha of Pennsylvania will chair the Appropriations Committee. He will make good his threats to cut funding for Iraq , forcing withdrawal of American troops. While many of you are cheering this, the new battleground will become America . Don't let anyone tell you differently.

* The far left Dennis Kucinitch of Ohio is in line to become chairman of the Government Reform Committee on national security. He once introduced a bill to "abolish all nuclear weapons." Good idea, Dennis, but Osama, Kim Jong Il, Pakistan , China , Ahmadinejad, and more, are now doubled up in laughter at your suggestion. Kucinitch would not condemn Hezbollah and has called for an end to the war on drugs.

* Bennie Thompson of Mississippi will become U.S. House Homeland Security Chairman. He is unqualified for this position due to zero experience.

* Scratch energy expansion in America such as ANWAR. Rep. John Dingell has opposed all of the President's energy programs. Under Dingell, the ability to achieve energy independence is not possible.

* And if you thought it was tough working with Tom Daschle, you haven’t seen anything yet with Nancy Pelosi!

So we have a house divided and now have two years of split government--a time when it will be difficult to accomplish much. And, we are in the midst of WWIII with an enemy the likes of which the West has never seen. We will likely have two years of gridlock. However, the people have spoken. We are a nation divided in a time of war.

Then there is my great state of Minnesota who just elected the first Muslim to the U.S. Congress. Is this a foreshadowing of things to come? I am always reminded of my radio guest Paul Sperry who suggested this was a plan--a big plan.

Bottom line? Probably more Muslims in office, more illegals to deal with, more entitlements, higher taxes, and more menacing terrorists. But remember, we are not living in times when the natural always makes sense. Some things are driven by supernatural forces that the Bible predicted would come about. The American demise is pretty clear in the Bible--at least a weakening of her superpower status--and perhaps a union with Europe . Watch for the manipulated destruction of the American dollar as the global medium of exchange and its replacement with the Euro.

This election was a wake up call that a Republican Party slouching toward the left does not necessarily possess a ladder tall enough to reach the coveted fruit of the conservative vote.

The campaign political season isn’t over. At Midnight on November 8, the race for 2008 began.

I was torn between voting for the 'Tax & Spend' Democrats or the 'Borrow & Spend' Republicans.

I hope the veto pen's ink has dried up from lack of use.

I wouldn't be too concerned. The Republicans were an absolute disgrace to conservatives. They've expanded government and increased the deficit. At least now we have liberals in liberals clothing.

The only big issue is the lack of control over judicial appointments other than that

GRIDLOCK IS GOOD

I'm really interested to see how things go over the next few years. For instance, Jim Webb (freshman democrat senator from VA) is actually quite conservative on many of his views. The guy was secretary of the Navy under Regan! Webb actually has the war hero cred that the Dems thought Kerry had.

Don't forget, 3,000 dead American soldiers and billions of dollars of contractor fraud going unpunished, all to replace one corrupt Iraqi government with another corrupt Iraqi government.

Oh and I got into a debate last night with a teacher. I about fell off my chair when he said "Well I always have one liberal in my class"

We were discussing the Bush administration and the Patriot act...

See I got no political allies...the neo-cons and libs all hate me.

Kobi's on lots of Percocet and is sleeping a lot. No need to stop Raoul. Keep up the good work, my friend.

P.S.

Being afraid when wasted on industrial strength pain killers is hard to do. I say give these things to the whole country and all our problems will disappear.
