Habibi the Rat Bastard!

It’s not often I poke my nose where it doesn’t belong, unless of course I see such an overwhelming act of stupidity, then I'm forced into it.

Which is exactly what happened a few days ago in the parking lot of the local Tim Horton’s coffee shop.

As I’m sitting there sipping on my morning "double double", I see this “Johnny Do-It-Your-Selfer” hooking up his home made utility trailer.

As he’s hooking it up, the nails came out of the trailer and it rolled away on him… stupid jackass!

Now normally I wouldn’t say chit until I notice the trailer tongue is a 2x4, and I see how it’s nailed into the trailer.
(4 nails are holding the trailer to the tongue)

So right away I call the cops and report the dumbass when the dispatcher asks “So what do you want us to do about it?”
Once I politely point out that this guy will be driving down the street with a loaded projectile in tow, I finally convinced her to send a cruiser.

The cruiser did show up and it looked to me like he was being handed a fi****l of tickets.

I don’t care if you buy a $50,000 truck and you’re one of those guys that installs his own tint and it looks like chit, or you’re one of those guys that makes his own tonneau cover out of plywood and spray paint it black, and again install it on your new $50,000 truck.

Good for you. However, I take issue with this guy because what he did was careless, negligent, and borderline criminal.

Stupid people, it never ceases to amaze me.

lol, that last pic is funny. I would love to see the look on his face. Right there hes got to be thinking "well hell....sum bish"

Stupid people are....well...stupid though.

I dont think I would have taken the time to call the cops, however it was probably a good idea since that could have easily killed some one...

Thumbs up

Now there's a being of high in-tuh-lekt.

You probably saved someone's life by making that call. Good work.

Yeah, I was just thinking how safety minded he was by going the extra mile to hook up those safety chains. Look he even has an orange vest on to warn people away from him.

Good call.

I have seen a factory built trailer that was improperly hooked up and with out safety chains. The trailer jumped the hook and had a head on with an import car on the bridge causeway. Snarled traffic something awfull.
stupid jerks.

Not to excuse his malfeasance but I kind of feel sorry for him. Maybe He can't afford anything better.

He cant afford a few bolts?????

I remember as a kid we had a trailer made out of oak, that we used as a hay trailer, that thing lasted longer than all the metal stock trailers, of course didn't get used as often either..... but it was BOLTED together. Nails wont hold up to the vibaration of the road.
