Question Extended warrentee question

So how much should I really be looking to shell out for an extended warrentee?

I'm looking to get at FX4 SuperCrew
Here is the pricing: Any thoughts on AWS vs Ford? Will dealers go down in price?
AWS:
platnum - no deductable
5yr, 100,000 $2166
gold $2018
silver $1956
platnum 7yr, 100,000 $3033

Ford
5yr 100,000 - $2680
7yr 100,000 - $3235

That seems a little high. My 5yr/75k was well under $1000.

KC-10 FE out...

That is definately my question. Platnum is bumber to bumper, the rest have little less and little less coverage.

Avoid aftermarket extended warranty companies like the plague. Logistically, they suck compared to a Ford warranty.

Oww. I got my 6yr/75k Ford ESP Premium Care for $1400. Covers over 500 components of the truck, and is basically a mirror image of the factory bumper to bumper warranty. Stay away from aftermarket companies, as Quintin said.
