I tried it out. If you're not using Firefox give it a try. Tabbed browsing will make your day. If you are using Firefox (you probably know better) you'll miss your extensions.

Get with the program and get Opera. 5x more mature than Firefox and IE put together. Sheesh, amatures!

I have come to the conclusion that "Fred" (the CDW - IT dude) is what it would be like watching D at work.

Just installed it. Don't know if I like the layout, and there doesn't seem to be a way to change it much. As I only use it for some things at work I need to get to and Microsoft Update, it's no big deal.
A word of warning for some. I read at another site that IE7 now goes by HTML coding standards like Firefox, not MS standards like IE6. Meaning sites you may have had trouble with using Firefox or Opera, you may now have trouble with IE7, until the site is updated to standard. Not 100% sure, but if true, it's about time.

I don't see a significant difference between Opera and Firefox. I prefer Firefox. My only complaint with it is the memory usage gets crazy with long use.

IE7 - Make sure you make a restore point prior to installing it. I installed at work (the beta) and had to reboot to safe mode and restore back to pre IE7. It looks decent when I installed it on a test machine that took it. I hate how it complains about my OWA certificate though...a real pain.

Opera.com, of course. It's the little things that make Opera special. The 'paste & go' feature, the paste to notepad, the notepad itself, hell the entire panel is awesome. Rewind and fast forward features before anyone else, had the tab trashcan before anyone else... they are constantly a step ahead of the rest.

EDIT: Actually this kinda says it all: http://www.opera.com/products/desktop/ I almost forgot about the save sessions and continue from last session... what a life saver!

Same here.

I just installed the final version, and it's very nice.

I never get any pop-ups, ever. I don't understand why some people get them. Maybe something is set wrong in their options?

Only one little complaint is the focus stealing has still not been corrected.

Yeah, it is fine, you gotta love tabbed browsing (glad MS caught on). Popup blocker is good, but overall not much has changed at all.

Just installed it a few hours ago. Cleaner look. I love the tabbed browsing. We'll see if there are any problems.
