North Korea

I had to share this quote with ya'll. It rocks.

North Korea "can have a future, or it can have these weapons. It cannot have both," Hill said. The U.S. and its allies "are in a very tense time" in dealing with Pyongyang, Hill added.

Assistant Secretary of State Chris Hill

Yeah, I don't knwo WTF North Korea's problem is, but, they seem to be itching for an ***-whipping... I've been meaning to post something about this for the last 3,4,5,6,7,8 days now, but didn't because I have a feeling that they're gonna back down sooner or later.

Today Russia and China told them they'd better "Check Themselves" in so many words. The article went on to say, no one was going to come to North Korea's defense if they test that nuke.

So, I say, test it Pyongyang, and be prepared to reap the whirlwind...

I not so sure about this. I see North Korea as the kid in the play ground that will do anything you dare him to do just to show he's tough enough.

That and they are stupid.

So we say you better not, they go ahead, then what? Then either everyone over there gets a nuke just in case. Or we ... invade? Attack? If we try anything like that they will (or not hesitate to) nuke us.

I don't see a favorable outcome.

Either way this guy in North Korea means business. He would blow the sh*t out of anyone to prove a point.

Lets say they test a nuke. What are we going to do?

Sanctions...bah they won't care.
Attack - with what military, they are up to their eyeballs in quelling a civil war.
Talk - Won't do any good.

The US has no ability to stop them from doing anything they want and they know it.

Now China and Russia...that's a different story. NK may back down with the regional big boys threatening them.

Since their last missle basically went straight up and back down,

I say let them go ahead and test a nuke.

Don't worry. Canada will come to the rescue. We'll bring shot guns and canoes and a few beaver traps.

My only concern (if they have the ability to detonate a nuke, which is still unknown; and if they have the ability to launch a nuke atop a missle, is that they'd use it on Seoul, or Japan. I doubt thay can hit us, but if they can- it's only L.A..

I can assure you, North Korea would no longer be mountanious terrain if they launch a nuke on anyone. However, if they did manage to get one off, the destruction to Seoul, and possibly Tokyo and other nearby cities (if they have that capability) would be complete.

There'd be no one left in North Korea to say, "Damn! Those sunzabitches weren't bullschytting!!"

What military?! I admit we're stretched pretty thin, but, don't think for one second that 2ID can't open a can of whip *** on North Korea if they cross that border. And, don't think for one second that South Korea's Army is incapable of kicking the North's *** right back across that line.

This ain't the 1950's. North Korea's tired of being in that box. They better come out right, or stay in it- because if they come out wrong, it'll end up being one Korea again, but it will be goverened from Seoul, not Pyongyang.

Lets just say after I saw what I saw, my anxiety level about spending a year under a 4-decade long cease fire, while eating, sleeping, sh*tting, and working well-within artillery range of North Korea's Army, went down considerably.

Their problem is that most of their population is starving and below thrid world status.

They are trying to achieve legitimacy thru power while still trying to maintain a closed system.

If you achieve success internally by threating and killing, you tend to figure it will work outside too.
