I would say they come into the US mainly on the borders, but not just democratic states, some republican states as well, considering California, Texas, and Florida are republican states. Arizona is dem.

I know about the first 3 and as for Arizona it was a very tough Republican state when I lived there. Just ask John McCain!! My sister is a US Attorney in Phoenix who is PRO Republican and I'm surprised the Governor who worked with my sister is a Democrat. My sister and I don't talk. Reason? Our much different beliefs in law and politics.

Let's just tatoo bar codes on everyones foreheads.

If you scan in differently than the price on the shelf, we put you on a company jet to Syria where you will be frozen, and hear the words stand up and wake up a lot. Then shaken up a bit, slapped around a bit and punched in the stomach all while being subjected to a laser light show set to the soothing sounds of Barry Manilow covering metallicas greatest hits.

Looks like this will pass and take effect in 2008.

I guess this November is going to be the last time I get to vote more than once.

That sounds like some pretty serious punishment!

I think we need to be a bit more strict though. If you scan differently we will hijack a commercial passenger jet and fly it into your building. Now that boders on torture. Not quite, but almost.

I think he is referring to what some are calling torture, and some are calling effective interrogation tatics.

Is beheading torture. Only if Bush supports it?

Hmmm, so basically if an American were captured and subjected to that "agressive interrogation" you wouldn't accuse his or her captors of torturing them?

If it were you or your wife or children, obviously you'd tell them to quit crying and let the government do it's job.

I'll make a note of that.

BTW, what "some are calling effective interrogations" seems to be renounced as ineffective by a good number of intelligence experts including former CIA. I'd really hate to think we're spending any time at all following leads that someone gave us under "aggressive interrogations".

An American terrorist?

An American soldier?

Who captures the American also has bearing on the answer to your question. An enemy civilian, terrorist or soldier?

Americans, and people from other countries have been tortured. They aren't around to complain about the way they were treated.

I'll make a note of that.
Why?

good number of intelligence experts
Is a good number more than half? A majority? Not all consider "aggressive interrogations" ineffective. So, is it possible that there are a good number who believe it's effective?
