How much does everyone make in a year??
It's hard to say, I get raises every 16 weeks, plus a 3% raise once a year, plus a COLA bonus once a year, plus COLA allowances, not to mention time-and-a-half and double-time overtime, so it's always changing, darn union workers.

Since I'm paid commission, my yearly gross varies greatly depending on the time of year, the particular jobs I'm working on, and where and how the politics are flowing throughout the shop.
According to various net services, the average yearly gross for my field is $38Kish. What do I make? Less than that.

I don't make a lot but have great benefits! During breaks I get free Big Macs, supersized fries, and drinks. The greatest benefit is that I meet a lot of chicks on the job. I bribe them with the free Big Macs and they might as well be mine. The problem though is McD-eating chics is that they weigh a ton.
*When* I was working I averaged about $102,000 a year. But I am, and have been a full-time student since the end of January. Living on savings...heh. Truck is paid for (day 1), mods paid cash, and I financed 8k worth of my Focus to build some debt history for credit purposes.
Once I graduate college? Who knows, probably less than I was making by a LOT. I am heavily considering law enforcement, but I may get sucked into sales again at least for a few years to get a down for a house. San Diego is PRICEY!
