Let's think this through.

They use terrorist tactics, we don't.
They purposely kill innocents, we don't.
They torture captives, we don't.

Two options in this situation.
One.
Release photographs worldwide showing we had them cold. We withheld because it was religious site (cemetary) and more than likely a religious ceremony, (funeral).
190 enemy not killed, 10% lose the furvor when they realize they could have been dropped on the spot and another 10% new recruits never materialize because this is evidence we are not bloodthirsty, savage infidels. Net gain, -38, plus improved world respect.

Two.
Kill 190 enemy.
Blow the hell out a cemetary containing the graves of 200-300 families.
Casket pieces and body pieces everywhere.
Bodies laying in their graves for untold years strewn about with the terrorists.
The families arrive to examine the destruction, along with the world media.
2,000 new terrorists are born in that instant, No doubt.
Public opinion and support reach an alltime low.

How did we get here?
Why is it we even question whether we should do this?

w3rd.

I agree that it would be wrong to bomb a bunch of scum during a funeral. That's what makes us different from them. But...I can guarantee they would have bombed us.

Again, that wouldn't make it "right" for us to do the same.

Maybe not use missiles at that time but have a couple of fighter jets blow through with high powered machine guns!! Machine guns will do the job!

“Coalition Forces do not discuss rules of engagement; however, they hold themselves to a higher moral and ethical standard than their enemies,” the military said in a statement.

WHAT?? no wit or satire.. .. good and valid points, all of them. How ever releasing this photo will assure that they will not do that again.
The coalition is held by world scrutiny to a higher moral code of conduct..
