New Four Wheeler

I love it!!

2006 Honda Rancher 350 4X4 Electric Shift. The only thing I dont like about it is that you cant disengage the four wheel drive. I cant wait for the snow.

Yeah, I did last week. I just cleaned her up for the pics.
It sucks that I have to have full coverage insurance on it since im making payments, 200 bucks a year. I couldnt even get the multi vehicle discount from state farm since this is an off road vehicle.

Oh yeah, so Mountaineer... aren't you making payments on your truck? and you dont have full coverage?

oh yeah, I got 4 more years left to pay on this thing. Like I said, I have a very small very cheep insurance company right now, and I told them I want only Liability, but they knew I was making payments yet, so they had to fax me over a few papers to sign pretty much saying if I get into an accident, I'm screwed.

this is only for a short time though, I do know I need full coverage again, but paying over 500 bucks a month for it I can't do. I gotta keep looking around for someone else I can afford.

Did ya try State Farm yet? You can probably get a quote on their website.

I have ATV-Line ins. 51$/year for basic coverage. For what it costs to replace stuff on these the extra 100$ just wasnt worth it to me.

edit: nm talking about ins on the truck

Nice. Good choice on the brand too, I ride an 04 450 Foreman.
When did they start to make them full time 4 wheel drive though? Must not have been to long ago, or is it an option to have full time, or be able to take it out? High Lifter makes a thing that will let you take it out of 4wheel drive though...

I dunno when that started, it was either 2wd or full time 4wd. I saw something in a catalog that you could buy to disengage it if you wanted.... no thanks, not that big a deal.
This is my second atv, but my first brand new vehicle.
36 more payments and this baby's mine!! Then away goes insurance.

I don't know much about them but I've ridden a few.

The full time 4x4 can really beat you up...I much prefer the ability to turn it off.

The other option that I would consider a must if I purchased is independent suspension....the ride is so much nicer.

Have fun man and don't kill yourself.
