Real nice me and my wife used to have 2000 Es Ranchers and loved them. Sold them though and bought some Grizzly's. I do love the new design of them though. Too bad did not live closer to me I have a decent set of BlackWater tires and rims I could make you a deal on..lol

Just the kawasaki brute force 750i, with a few mods. It usually turns a few heads of the guys on sport quads when I am still beside of them after a 300 ft drag.

Trust me you made the right choice for an ATV. My buddy has a 400 AT and has over 5500km on it and not a single problem! Your are going to want to up grade the tires for snow. Trust me those tires are going to suck. I would look into the ITP Mudlite. My buddies who have the Honda AT all have mudlites and love it. It makes a world of difference. I have the 26" mudlites on my Honda Rincon and love it.

I'm thinking about upgrading to the Bombardier 800 XT.

I don't know how much snow you get where you are. But I must admit the stock tire work okay for 1 foot or less of snow. 12 inches of snow is nothing!
I had a 400 AT with the same tires you have and got through a winter okay with them but theres no way you are going to do a second winter with them.

Honestly get a set of mudlites. You can't go wrong. Only if you budget permits it though. If worst comes to worst you can do one winter with the stock tires.

I.
I live right down the street from him. We don't get very much snow here anymore, mostly around 8 or 9 inches at most in a given snow storm. I think the tires he has will be just fine for what we get over here which unfortunately isn't very much anymore

Then he should be okay with the stock tires if you don't get much snow. I think for the amount of money you spend on a Honda they should give you decent tires.

At least they are better than what come on Polaris/Arctic Cat-Carlisle Badlands....talk about a POS tire.

I agree though too, if you are going to do any big time mudding or playing in the snow, new tires are a great thing...

Those things are fast stock, i can imagine how fast they would be with few engine mods. One of the best quads out there IMO.
