Not a great start...

Picked up my new F150 after work today. Truck looked great and everything checked out fine. Needed to pick up a few things at Home Cheapo and get something at Mickey D's. Got what I needed at Home Cheapo and went over to the drive thru at Mickey D's. Stopped at the speaker to order, hit the DOWN window button and NADA! Window didn't do anything! Freaken girl keeps asking.. "Can I help you" and I yelled.. "Yea you can fix my MF window".. I was a little pizzed off about now. Zoomed back to the dealerhip with murder in my heart but the GM (who sold me the truck) had left for the day. So I told them they could keep the truck and give me something to drive home. They can fix the damn thing tomorrow and deliver it to my home about 15 miles away. I was just thinking today if I had made a mistake going Ford instead of the Toyota's I've been buying for the last 15 years. I didn't even make it home without something not working on my new Ford truck!! That is pretty bad. Not a real happy camper tonight since I'm driving a POS 06 Tarsus... Oh well... nothing I can do but hope this was the exception and not the rule for these trucks!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that man. Hopefully that will be the worst thing you ever have happen to your truck. I've had a few small issues with mine, but nothing major. Anyway, sorry to hear about this on your first day, but good luck getting it resolved quickly.

By the way Mattineer, I remember him from last night asking about his truck and saying he would be picking it up soon, so I would say he's not a troll.

I just figured since I saw he just joined with "0" post count saying he thinks he made a Mistake by not going to a Jap Toyota company instead of Ford that he may be a troll with him saying ford is a POS

if he is telling the truth, then sorry to hear about his minor problem, but a little window switch is not a big problem

Sorry to hear about the problem
I wonder if it's a typical Ford problem.
I have had problems with switches in my wife's Windstar.
My DS window switch acts odd on my S-Crew.
Who knows??????
I'm sure it'll all work out and you'll be pleased.

BTW... here's a pic of my vette and 4runner. I guarantee own every vehicle that's on my profile....... including a BRAND NEW F150 with a broken drivers side window.....

Spin it how you want but you are a troll.

I suggest you sell the Ford, buy a Toyota, and go away.
