Good luck with your truck. That was kind of the GM himself bringing your truck to you.

Oh, don't worry about the smart remarks. These guys like to have fun. It did make me laugh btw.

Just remember to put on your mean face and act tough when you come to General Discussion. You can be yourself in the Technical forums.

Window fixed

OK... The GM returned my new truck today and all is well. Window clip was cracked from the factory and then failed. Dealer didn't have the part and Ford said it wouldn't be there until Tuesday. GM told them to take it off a new truck and get mine fixed. So the dealer is batting 100% with me... I had a small problem but at least they immediately took care of it. The garage in the background is almost finished. Needed more space for the new truck and a new work shop. So I built a new 1200 sq ft garage with a 1000 sq ft 2nd floor storage. I'm hoping to have it totally finished in a couple weeks. Had the new driveway blacktopped today so I'm slowly getting there. You'd never think there was so much involved with building a simple garage. Nothing is simple anymore......
Here's a few pics from this afternoon.

cthusker, the white with the white bumpers looks great. You might want to add an electric lock to your tailgate to help keep it from being "borrowed." You will enjoy the solid feel of your truck and I can say it is built well compared to the Nissan pickup that rearended me about an hour ago. Crushed his bumper, grille, air conditioning condensor and line and hood. Only left a small bit of white paint on the plastic part of my bumper, otherwise you'd never know I was hit. Rubbed the white paint off and nobody will ever know. Well, except you guys. Bill

OK.. fill me in on the electric lock tailgate? Not familiar with that but it sounds interesting....... I agree that the truck does feel very solid compared to my last one. The brand will remain nameless to protect the innocent..

Wow, you must have a big johnson too.

Do us all a favor and don't go back for the truck, let someone who isn't a tool buy and drive it. go drive your cool-guy vette instead.

Agreed.

So just because a guy posts F150 pictures he found off google; ya'll think he proved something?

any ford truck is a good truck.. I am a blue bleader for trucks.

Some of the guys in GD are a little rough around the edges, but it makes for good entertainment.

As for being smarter than the average house fly, I know I have at least two brain cells because when they collide I get a headache.

enjoy your new truck, two of my favorite scents, NEW TRUCK and coffee.

I'm with UC on this... anyone else notice that F150 has plates already? What brand new trucks do you know of that come with plates?
