First Time F-150 Owner

New guy here. I have a new job that required me to have a p/u and a luxury car. Therefore, I got an 04 Lariat w/ the captain's chairs and monster chrome floor shift. This thing just makes me feel good to sit in it! People love it. 5.4, black w/Arizona tan, etc. My other ford is an 05 Mustang. I wanted an 05 LAriat but this 04 had only 13,600 miles on it!! The old fellow must have driven it to the mailbox. Question... does anybody know of any problems w/ the 04s to watch out for? Any general advice? Oh, yea; got it for $22,000. Thanks folks!

Sparkplugs...they need to be taken out and cleaned about every 30,000 miles. Other than that, it's a great truck, and get out your wallet, cause we're gonna convince you to start modding it.

Well, my truck has a K&N intake, Flowmaster Exhaust, Troyer Performance Ignition, and a Edge Evo Chip, among many other things. A good place for you to start out would be Troyer Performance

Kobi, I just thought of something. Do you even currently own an F-150? I've never heard of it before...

This has been discussed many times. I had a 2000 silver Lightning which is how I came upon this forum:

And then I had a red 2002 L:

Both now, sadly, gone.

I was waiting for the Gen III Lightning but Ford decided to not make it. Bastards.

I stuck around here in anticipation of the GenIII, and then my browser got stuck on this site and I haven't been able go anywhere else. So I'm stuck here.

At present, no F150.

Why? Do you want to give me one? I'd like an 2004 Lightning with less than 100 miles.

Well, it is about taking clients to build sites. Therefore, a luxury-type vehicle for their comfort with truck ability to negotiate construction areas.
