umm where did I ever say it was funny what happened today? I said I had a bad day and told you guys what happened. What part of that did you sence that was funny?

anyone knows that working Construction is a VERY risky job, you can get seriously hurt anytime anywhere on a job site. Accidents happen all the time that can get people hurt, its Construction. So I hit a soft spot in the dirt next to a building which made the Bob Cat lean to much and smack the wall causing it to fall, things happen rather we want them to or not.

Demolition Construction is by far the most Dangerous jobs I have ever been on. You get Iron beams and walls coming down all over the place as people cut them down. Before you go into Construction work, you have to realize chit happens and it's very dangerous line of work, almost anything can happen.[/QUOTE]

Demolition Constrction? An oxymoron? If you start your own company, that would be a good name for it.

No Matt.

Stuff doesn't just happen. People get injured in construction because of negligence. Period.

You lost control of your Bobcat. Period. Don't pass blame.

Cripes, did you forget about the guy that went to hospital last week? He only hurt himself. Dude, you knocked a wall down. YOU could have hurt someone else. Maybe you dont think its funny, but you certainly dont sound remorselful that you could have killed someone with your negligence.

I was operating a Bob Cat today and needed to clear some dirt away from a new Building Target that is going up. I needed to mark Sub Grade on the side of Target to let the Operator know where he has to grade the dirt at.

Anyway, I get a long side of Target as Bricklayers are still setting block for the walls of Target (the walls maybe 10 feet or so)

The minute I put my Bucket down to grade next to that wall, my passenger tires sank in the dirt and spun making the Bob Cat lean over, and when it leaned over the top of the Bob Cat, hit the fresh wall, and toppled it on top of the Bob Cat! I had 10 feet of 8 inch block's come crashing down on the Bob Cat, but thank god the thing had a cage going around the hole thing.

My Boss is pissed to know end, but accidents happen, but that was a big accident and sucked having the new wall come down like it did.

bad days suck

not surprised....that is what you get when a laborer tries to be an operator.....damn unions.....

What was that movie he played in with Nicholas Cage? The one where he's on the airplane getting ready to slam into the ground, and everybody's freaking out and screaming while he's sitting there singing "He's got the whole world in his hands"?

Bob Cats, Lulls, and any type of Fork lift is a Laborers Machine. Operators Union here let that go and gave them to the Laborers to control about 15 years or so back.
