mat, you need to get a camera, with all the stuff that happens, a camera may help you document it.

D - That was an AS 350 Ecureuil you were in. It's made by Eurocopter. (An EDS Company, who also own Airbus)

They set altitude record in that thing, actually took it to the top of Everest and touched down on the summit (There's actually video of this on the web)

It's a wonderful chopper. I love helicopters and flying them. Congrats for you!

sorry Matt.

That isn't an accident.

That's negligence on your part. You were piloting the Bobcat. You were in it controlling it and your actions caused the problem.

If I was your boss, I'd be sending you back to the hall.

We go out to eat with some neighbors occasionally and I like to get him to talking. he was a copter pilot in Vietnam. He was flying support at the battle for Hamburger Hill. You would never guess what he has been through. Your talking of copters just reminded me.

Oh heck no, I'm not a pilot (I wish). Let me clarify, I've flown in them. I did have the controls once of a Robinson R-22 trainer once though.

I would love to fly in a Bel 222. Haven't had the chance yet though.

This reminds me of an introductory lesson I had in a Robinson R-22, a little nothing of a helicopter but what this guy did with it blew my mind.

This company I used to work for got me this flight as a present. The instructor was a Vietnam Vet, French Army (spare me the jokes y'all). He was an awesome pilot. Took me thru a lot of nap-of-the-earth flying. I couldn't believe what he could do with that thing. More than once I thought we were going to die. It was a total rush to be that low weaving in an out and through the canyons. What really scared me s**tless was when he demonstrated auto-rotation after he climbs to a high altitude . . . and then shut everything down. (Thankfully he warned me what he was going to do although that really didn't make me a whole lot more comfortable).

God I love helicopters!

you just be very ****** happy that no one was walking nearby when it happened. You could have been on the end of a negligent death lawsuit.

I left the construction biz because of clowns like you. Please do those a round you a favor... get a clue before you seriously injure someone. A collapsing wall is not funny at all to anyone here who has worked construction.

umm where did I ever say it was funny what happened today? I said I had a bad day and told you guys what happened. What part of that did you sence that was funny?

anyone knows that working Construction is a VERY risky job, you can get seriously hurt anytime anywhere on a job site. Accidents happen all the time that can get people hurt, its Construction. So I hit a soft spot in the dirt next to a building which made the Bob Cat lean to much and smack the wall causing it to fall, things happen rather we want them to or not.

Demolition Construction is by far the most Dangerous jobs I have ever been on. You get Iron beams and walls coming down all over the place as people cut them down. Before you go into Construction work, you have to realize chit happens and it's very dangerous line of work, almost anything can happen.
