No problem, I'd guess that they'll e-mail you back sometime in the next day or two and say it was a fraudulent email. That they didn't send it. Thanking you for reporting it, etc etc.

I got a letter like that a few years ago... It looked so real and officiall, even had a very very close if not a copy of ebay and pay pal logo. Looked like any other transaction from e-bay, but what ever it was was a wierd item. So I reported it ad it was fraudulent. Didn;t come from Ebay or paypal either one.

Yeah, they had a help section on ebay for fraudulent "ebay" emails. So I guess they've known for a while what's been going on. Thanks for the help man.

Hey BREWDUDE, that sucks, man. I got banged for 600$ through ebay/paypal. Took about a year, but my bank made good on my money, I geuss paypal took care of the bank. They made me sign affadavits to help prosecute whoever they caught, but it never came to that. I now have an account for internet purchases that I only put money into before I make a purchase, and there's no overdraft protection on it. That way, when you go to the ATM, your balance is'nt in the negative digits. Ugly feeling. Peace, Dave.

THat sucks man. I'm glad they caught it before it got out of hand and I was actually charged for everything. I guess I have some paperwork being sent to me that I need to sign. Not sure what it is yet.

ROSE....I am so glad it was caught by Western Union...

I had someone make some bogus charges on my account once. Fortunately not for a large amount and I signed up to access my acount online. Caught them within a couple days.
One thing you don't want to do, in this case never put your CC account number on your check. This is how the people got my info, and the company making the charge wasn't real careful about checking all the facts. Fortunately for me they reversed them without a fight and my CC company closed that acount and gave me a new on.
