Try messing with an older (92 - 96??) Taurus SHO. You'll never look at a Taurus the same way after that. Let's just say I've seen them hang with a car that GM is bringing back from the dead.

Anybody remember the Taurus SHO, when it would do 145 MPH?
I may or may not have gotten close to that speed in my buddy's before...of course it had 200K on it. I remember hearing about that motor. It was an 11,000 RPM motor, but they had to limit it to 9,000 to keep it from frying th accessories. The tach only went to about 7 or 8.

I know, the SHO was a bad boy, in it's day...
The Max was still quicker though... But, top speed, the SHO would Wax dat ***- the matter would be finiding a driver ballsy enough to take a SHO to 145.
