Thanks, I got skunked on Saturday but Sunday was overcast till about noon. I caught those on topwater from 7am-11am.

 

There is NOTHING like catching a bass on a topwater lure. Total excitement!

 

I got some bait on my hook. Does that count?

 

What else is lurking out there in Texas where you fish?

Water Moccasins?

Huge Rattle Snakes?

Rabid Armadillos?

I've not come across much dangerous here except once I was chasing a Possum and it turned and let me know it was ready to rumble.

 

Congrats on the fish. I'd like to try bass fishin sometime, don't find them around here though.
We went walleye and northern pike fishin about 5 hrs north last weekend. The beer couldn't have been better.

 

I went bass fishing last weekend. Caught a 3 pounder. I'm big into catch and release though. I must have caught 12 or so last weekend. This weekend I was atv ridding.

I went out for fluke and seabass. Only caught a few shorts, but a few of the guys and gals I was with caught some keepers. Enough to share the wealth. Needless to say we had fluke for dinner.

 

now i see why they call you budha!
