I went to my first NASCAR race in Vegas in March, the Damilier/Chrysler 400 or 500 (can't remember the exact number). What a rush. My brothers and I got front row seats, man the noise, wind, and speed created by those things was unbelievable!! I brought a few packs of ear plugs, ended up handing out a few of them to people with there hands over their ears. Man were they grateful. I was gunnin' for #17 Matt Kenseth (sp?), he was leading well over half of the laps, then at the very last turn, Jimmie Johnson literally inched by him and won by a bumper, I think it was something like 0.45 seconds apart! Man I was p.o.'d.

Before the race, though, we ended up walking around all the trailers and pickin' up some race stuff for the family back home, but man was it pricey. All in all, I think we did a few miles of walking around, so yeah, ditch the flip-flops, were some comfortable shoes. It would've been nice to bring a cooler full of beer (however, walking around with it might have proved to be cumbersome) since they charge a premium for it at the concession stands.

LUCKY!!! Now that is nascar when it was all racin and no fluff crap that bothers me today.

I'm totally pumped about going. I'm going with a bunch of buddies. And I will make sure I have good ear plugs!! Good to know about the beers coolers. I'll have to remember that.

We are going to the race in Richmond, Virginia. I have some friends up from Tampa, FL right now and they tell me their is some hot women in Richmond. I'll bring my digital camera for you boys!
