On my filters there are two outputs. DSL and Phone.

Haven't seen those. At my surge protector, I have a 3 way splitter. One for my dial up modem with a filter, one to my phone/fax with a filter, and one to the DSL modem. A simple single splitter/filter wouldn't do me any good.

Netwurker is right.

For DSL...split at the demarc (entrance), one filter for all the phones and unfiltered to the modem.
